Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using BillWise Pakistan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the application.

02

Scope & Service Description

BillWise Pakistan provides personal utility bill tracking, due-date reminders, and consumer account organization tools. The application operates in an offline-first manner on your Android or iOS mobile device.

03

Non-Governmental & Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

Mandatory Disclaimer

BillWise Pakistan is an independently developed utility tracking app and does not represent any government entity or utility provider.

The app is NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan, the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), PEPCO, WAPDA, NEPRA, OGRA, or any utility distribution company, including but not limited to LESCO, IESCO, FESCO, GEPCO, MEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, K-Electric, SNGPL, SSGC, WASA, or PTCL.

04

User Responsibilities

As a user of the Application, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of reference numbers, consumer IDs, and billing amounts you enter into the application.
  • You are responsible for keeping backups of your device if you wish to retain records when changing or formatting devices.
  • You will not use the Application for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
05

Payments & Due Date Accuracy

No Payment Gateway Functionality: BillWise Pakistan does not handle money, process transactions, or act as an escrow. To pay utility bills, users must use official banking applications (e.g. Easypaisa, JazzCash, SadaPay, NayaPay, 1Link Internet Banking, or bank branches).

Reminder Reliability: While the application strives to send scheduled reminders accurately, reminders rely on device battery optimization settings, OS scheduling algorithms, and correct user input. The developers are not liable for late payment surcharges resulting from missed notifications or delayed physical bill payments.

06

Intellectual Property

The BillWise Pakistan application, UI designs, code, assets, and branding are the intellectual property of the developers and protected by copyright laws. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or reproduce the software code without prior written consent.

07

Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developers disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application.

08

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
